  About Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai is the largest and most culturally saturated city in Northern Thailand.  It was built along the Ping River and is situated amongst some of the highest mountains in Thailand.  The city itself is a mix of modern urban development and historical architecture.  While roaming the streets and market places you will see business men and women, tribes people, Buddhist monks, college students and tourists all convening in one place.

We will be venturing into Chiang Mai a few times to volunteer and to visit local temples.  We will also be visiting the infamous Night Bazaar.
